Vala
Lavanda Resort, Hvar, Croatia:
In May 2006 Landmark made its initial investment in assembling
a stunning164 hectare development site for a tourist resort
at Busak, on the Island of Hvar on the Adriatic coast of Croatia.
Vala Lavanda
is on the north west coast close to the City of Stari Grad
and c. 25km from Hvar Town. The site features 3 exclusive
bays, extensive coastline and a gradual gradient down to the
sea with views across to Bol on the Island of Brac.
The site
includes 1,329,400 sq.m. of freehold land and is the largest
waterfront development site in Croatia. The project has the
full support of local and central government ensuring its
status as a luxury tourist resort (Spatial Plan T2) offering
150 bed hotel and villages with retail and recreational facilities
including an 80 berth marina.
The site
is being assembled by Landmark's partners Poseidon Group and
a master plan has been designed by Hart Howerton.
